“Givers of Harmony”
Angie Knapp
This year’s Harmony Free Fair program book is dedicated to Angie Knapp. Angie is a role model for community involvement in the Town of Harmony. She has donated countless hours to numerous electrical projects, both large and small, on the fairgrounds. In all those projects, Angie kept expenditures to a minimum while supplying quality products. As she wired the fairground’s new buildings, she also assisted with grants from Efficiency Maine to help pay for the new lights. Over the long term, those lights will save the Club money in operating costs. Her volunteer efforts for the Town of Harmony do not end with the Patriarchs Club. Angie has devoted many years to the town’s Parks and Recreation Committee. She is focused on community events that include children and families, such as the Winter Carnival at the skating rink, and invests much time and effort into seeing them be successful. Angie and her four children, Barrett, Abby, Josh and Joseph, enjoy the outdoors. They snowmobile, kayak, fish, and go hiking together. If a snowmobile breaks down, they fix it together. Angie Knapp has a tremendous work ethic and a strong sense of purpose. She is tireless in her efforts. As this program goes to press, she is wiring the Fiber Barn. Angie is interested and invested in the well-being of all children, not just her own. She is truly a role model for everyone in the community.
