Farmer's Awards
FARMER'S AWARD
To compete for this award, bring in at least four of your livestock (large animals such as horses, cows, pigs, etc.) Fowl do not count toward the four. You will be judged on your knowledge of your animals and their care, as well as your interaction with crowd. $125 cash prize awarded.
JUNIOR FARMER'S AWARD
You must be less than 16 years old and display at least three animals from your farm to compete for this award. You will be judged on care of the animals over the duration of the fair, as well as information about the animals you share with the public. $50 cash prize awarded.
RULES FOR BOTH AWARDS
Building space is on a first come, first served basis. Livestock must arrive no later than 9:00 am on Saturday and be at the fair for three days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). Call Shawn & Sandra O’Donnell at 270-8355 for registration information and for transportation restrictions.
IMPORTANT NOTICE -
Please Read All livestock exhibitors must provide Proof of Insurance at registration. Livestock Insurance will NOT be available at the Fair. Insurance may be obtained at the Maine Association of Livestock Exhibitors website: www.mainelivestockexhibitors.org
